Migrant Workers Given Preferential Treatment

Migrant Workers Given Preferential Treatment

For those migrant workers who are willing to live in the tropics, they will be given preferential treatment as a further $1.2 million has been pledged to develop Australia’s north.

The government has a plan in place, to lure foreign and local workers to northern Australia as it seeks to build better infrastructure including roads and trade opportunities. The so called “White Pater” on bringing more structure and developing northern Australia, will be on top of funds that have already been set aside for this development. The North of Australia is an integral part of Australia’s development, and if they succeed and prosper, then the rest if Australia will benefit.

Contrary to the belief that Mackay and Cairns are reserved for backpackers and retirees, the cities are now becoming very modern. The new infrastructure will take pressure off the big capital cities as these growth capitals are said to in years to come, attract the world’s wealthiest people.

If the immigrants are prepared to work first in the tropics, Migrant workers given preferential treatment and visa conditions will be relaxed. Due to a skills shortage as well, migrant workers will need to be sourced as well.
