EXCELLENT Based on 96 reviews Posted on Amelia GeorgeTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had an exceptional experience working with the team at Phillip Silver & Associates, from our first interaction with Phillip to receiving our visa. Exceptional service!!! They successfully secured employer sponsorship for Charlton and guided us through obtaining a SID visa something we truly did not think would be possible. Their expertise and commitment made all the difference. We highly recommend their services to anyone planning a move to Australia. They were reliable, efficient, and ensured the entire process was as smooth and stress-free as possible. Thank You Phillip Silver & AssociatesPosted on Shane HolderTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Phillip helped me massively. Despite numerous setbacks and challenges our family was granted Permanent residency recently. Thank you to Phillip and Hafizah who has supported us through this process.Posted on Bernard SpangerTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Phillip Silver & Associates acted on my behalf, on very short notice and with a very tight deadline. I could not be more pleased with the results, or with the professionalism and dedication of everyone involved. I would recommend them without hesitation!Posted on J KTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Please avoid this company! I am a North American doctor who trained in Australia. Last year I reached out to this firm to assist me with my permanent residency application. Most of my doctor friends completed the application themselves and 4-6 months later received their PR, but I wanted to use a lawyer to avoid any errors. I had a consultation with Philip, the head of the firm, and a junior associate. They explained that given the country’s demand for doctors, the application process should be very straight forward. I transferred them several thousand dollars and received an invitation from the government to apply for PR shortly after. After the consultation, I did not hear from Philip and worked only with the junior associate, from Mainland China. The firm requested all my documents, including my degree to organize the application. The junior associate resigned shortly after submitting the application . I did not hear anything for about 12 months. I repeatedly checked in with the firm but was unable to get a lawyer on the phone. I would send emails and leave messages, which were usually lost by the firm according to the secretarial staff. When I did get responses, I was told there is no new information, and I had to wait. The only time I was actually able to contact Philip was to organize a bridging visa b, which is a separate visa that allows me to leave the country, for an extra fee of course. 12 months after reaching out to the firm and a week before I was meant to travel abroad, I got an email from the firm saying a mistake was made on my application. Being a doctor, the junior lawyer accidentally stated that I had a doctorial degree on my application, which overinflated the amount of points on my expression of interest. The firm initially tried to say it was my fault because they sent me a copy of the expression of interest before sending it off to the government. As a result, I would have 28 days before the government would reject my application, I could not leave the country and would have to forfeit all the money I spent on hotels and flights, because if I was out of the country when the application was rejected, I would be banned from re-entering, and I could not reapply for the same visa. The reason I could not reapply is because the error would be viewed by the government as a misrepresentation of my points eligibility, which subsequently would put a black mark on my name. Throughout this process Philip refused to apologize, stating it would make him legally liable. When discussing the best next steps, it was clear that he did not have a firm understanding of basic immigration law policies. During a video call, I had to inform him of basic point allocation policies. For example, he thought being single vs being in a defacto relationship allotted a different number of points. He stated his employee that his really good is in the hospital, and he doesn’t usually handle these things without him. When I emailed him and asked him to refund my lawyer fees and flights, he ignored my email and my calls. Please do yourself a favor and avoid this firm because when things go bad, you will be the one who suffers, not him. *note I have made amendments to this post because Philip emailed me threatening to sue me for defamation on 28/10/25. It should be noted that my application was eventually accepted; however, this was not due to Philip’s firm, rather it was despite their errors. It was a very expensive and stressful process for me to resolve the issue despite their errors, but I am happy it is resolved and behind me.Posted on Dustin WilkeTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Before i was farmer in somaliaPosted on AmeliaTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I rarely leave reviews, but I feel compelled to warn others about my partner’s experience with Phillip silver and associates. We trusted them to handle his permanent visa application, but their clerical error led to a critical mistake that jeopardized his career prospects and immigration status. Despite clear evidence that the error originated on their end, the firm refused to take responsibility, let alone offer a solution or even an apology. Their dismissive attitude and lack of accountability added immense stress to an already difficult process. Immigration law is too important to leave in the hands of professionals who won't own their mistakes. I would strongly advise looking elsewhere if you value competence, transparency, and basic professional integrity.Posted on Ingrid HennigTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Thank you very much for your hard work and assistance in getting my student visa. I appreciate your help.
